My passion…

I found my passion for Yoga, Meditation and Ayurveda a few years ago. All because of a small book called Raja Yoga that my Dad had once gifted me.

Soon I came across the teachings of Acharya Shunya. She has become my teacher in Vedanta and Ayurveda. I am still enrolled in two of her ongoing programs The Vedic way and Alchemy through Ayurveda. I have also followed many programs with Guru Gian in the Netherlands, through him I found my passion for coaching and Kundalini yoga.

Inmiddels coach ik, geef ik Kundalini yogales en workshops.

… and furthermore

I am driven, thorough and full of energy. Married and mother of three wonderful children.

When I am not coaching or doing Yoga, Meditation or Ayurveda, I can be found in my vegetable garden, the kitchen or walking our sweet dog Cooper.

Before I started coaching, I was a successful entrepreneur in Los Angeles, where I happily lived with my family for ten years. There I was the exclusive importer and distributor of the Dutch Gazelle bicycles and the Yepp child bicycle seats for the North American market. I have studies International Business at Maastricht University and started my career at Estée Lauder in Brussels, Belgium. I was born in Haiti and my nickname is Aika.

I am very much looking forward to hearing your story!

Kundalini Yoga
& the Veda’s…

Kundalini yoga is the yoga of our awareness.

“It is a mix of hatha yoga (posture), raja yoga (mind), mantra yoga, pranayama (breathing techniques), Bhakti yoga (devotion), tantra yoga (working with masculine and female polarity) and karma yoga. “- Guru Gian

Kundalini Yoga and meditation is a very powerful technology with many advantages for the practitioner. The transforming energy that is released positively influences our health, internal glands and systems, our electro magnetic field, it cleanses and heals and most important of all: it enables us to master our mind. Kundalini was first mentioned in the Veda’s, the oldest sacred texts originated in India more than 5000 years ago.

The Veda’s reveal sacred wisdom on how to live, think, act and eat. It answers fundamental questions as Who am I? What is our life purpose? But even quantum physics is explained. Slowly science is catching up to back up these theories with evidence. Universal ethics (dharma), nature and the influence of the five elements earth, water, fire, air and ether are all to be found in the Veda’s. And Ayurveda, an holistic system of health, food and medicine also originates in the Veda’s.

As a coach I use positive cognitive coaching techniques and skills, kundalini yoga, meditation, Ayurveda and the knowledge, wisdom and inspiration from the Veda’s.
